About Me

Pocket Moon Productions was started by me, Kevin Inlay.

I grew up in South Sacramento, and always had aspirations to become a videographer. At 15 I was making YouTube videos and getting paid to do it. Eventually, I dropped video making to go to school full time in order to become a high school English teacher.

6 years into my career as an educator, things finally started to settle down. I finally had some time to breath - so I invested in some camera equipment and decided to start this side-business in videography.

Being a teacher has shown me that there are so many moments in life that are worth capturing - and there are people out there with amazing ideas that need an outlet. I love working with clients to capture those important moments, or sitting down and discussing their video idea and how we can work together to make it a reality.

Why "Pocket Moon"?

The sun contains unfathomable power, it is something that can't be replicated. The best imitation we have, is the moon reflecting the light off the sun onto us at night.

"Pocket Moon Productions" is like that - it's impossible to capture real life perfectly. But I can reflect it for you to keep in your pocket forever.
